About us

We offer self-catering accommodation located in a beautiful Victorian home. Please bear in mind that we are not a hotel or a guest house, but we can guarantee you a luxurious and pleasant stay.

Reservations

A non-refundable deposit equal to the value of the first night is required to book all rooms. The value of the full booking is due on arrival. In the event of a no-show or a reduction in booking after arrival, the full cost of the booking is charged.

Payment types and refunds

All major credit and debit cards are accepted with no charge. Any refunds due will be paid back only to the credit or debit card used to make the booking.

Arrival and Departure

Rooms are available from 15:00, although earlier arrival may be possible with our prior agreement. If possible, please inform us of your arrival time. Check-in must be made by 20:00. Check-out on day of departure is by 10:00. On the day of departure luggage may be left with us at our discretion, however, we cannot be held responsible for any loss of, or damage, to your luggage. A later check-out may be possible subject to availability at an additional charge. We offer FREE parking on a first come first served basis. There is also plenty of on-street parking, which is also free, at the front of the property.

Changes to / Termination of Booking

We reserve the right to amend or terminate any booking should the conduct of any person who is party to that booking cause any detriment to the well-being or comfort of ourselves (the proprietors) or of other guests, or who cause damage to the property and its fixtures and fittings. Any damage or costs that occur because of such behaviour will be recovered from the lead guest, who agrees that such payments may be taken direct from the credit or debit card supplied to pay for the booking, without any further permission being required. This includes any legal expenses incurred by the proprietors as a result of a guest’s actions. We wish to remind all guests that this is our home and we hope that this is respected.

House Property

Please check the condition of your room on arrival. If you notice any damage or missing items in your room please inform us immediately. We reserve the right to charge you for the full cost of repairing or replacing any loss or damage that you or your party cause to the property during your stay. The credit or debit card of the person who made the booking will be charged accordingly. Lost or mislaid keys will be charged at £100 per set.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted ANYWHERE inside the property. Anyone found smoking will be asked to leave and the lead guest will be charged £150. This is for additional cleaning of the soft furnishings and to allow the smell to dissipate before we can re-let the room.

Guest Bedrooms

Our self-catering apartment is located on the ground floor.

Allergies and Dietary Requirements

All accommodation is self-catering only.

Further Conditions

Dogs are allowed in the self-catering garden apartment.

We cater for adults only.

No stag or hen parties.

We do not provide music or entertainment anywhere within the house.

Only registered guests are allowed on the premises.

The garden terrace area is for the exclusive use of the residents of the garden apartment.
